…and that make me want to rage quit life.

People on trams/buses/trains that don’t give up their seats up for people who are in obvious need of a seat.

Case in point: the other morning, a man with a white cane, presumably suffering some kind of vision impairment got on the tram and was obviously keen to sit down quickly before it began to move again. Anyhow, numerous people sat around in the priority seats nearest the doors completely oblivious to the fact that maybe they should get off their selfish arses and let him sit down.

This is maddening as it is such a simple, low cost gesture that can really help someone out in need. More so, given the fact that these are seats clearly marked to be given up to passengers in need.
